Our Team
BME 401 Group 2 works with Dr. Chet Hammill to build a real-time detection of Anastomotic leakage. The team chooses Dr. Hammill for his extensive experiences on gastrointestinal surgeries and rich knowledge on the limitations on current solutions based on the feedback from the patients. His background in engineering and his career in medicine provide solid understanding of the problem and creative problem-solving mindset that the team can learn from.
Thao Cao
Thao is a BME senior who has interests in immuno- engineering and wants to pursue a PhD in this field. Thao also loves cooking and learning new random things such as playing kalimba
Yuanyuan He
Yuanyuan is a senior student from Washington University in St. Louis studying biomedical engineering with minors in computer science and art. She is originally from Shanghai, China and plan to pursue a doctoral degree in Biomedical Engineering after graduation
Jessie Qiao
Jess is a senior student majoring in BME with a minor in computer science. She plans to attend graduate school with a concentration in data analytics. Jess loves playing tennis and squash in her leisure time.
